Live and Let Live With The Law of Attraction

“I have learned silence from the talkative; tolerance from the intolerant and kindness from the unkind. I should not be ungrateful to those teachers.” Kahlil Gibran

According to the Law of Attraction, we magnetize and attract to ourselves whatever we focus on. Like attracts like, birds of a feather flock together, etc. When you apply this basic principle of the Law of Attraction to relationships, it becomes clear that the wisest course you can follow is to live and let live. How glorious it is to live your life as you see fit and let others do the same. This simple idea goes a long way toward eliminating relationship problems. (Who knows, it may even be the answer to world peace!)

You are never free if your happiness, your vibrational status, depends on someone else’s behavior. As you become certain that your happiness depends on you and you alone, you become extremely attractive to others. Your vibration issues an invitation – “You can come and play with me. I don’t need you to behave in a certain way for me.” When you quit holding others responsible for the way you feel, your relationships will improve dramatically.

We are often the most critical of those closest to us because we expect our significant others to make us feel a certain way. Are you ready to let go of these impossible expectations? Are you ready to relieve your loved ones of that pressure? Remind yourself that the way you feel is your responsibility. When you are in control of how you feel, you don’t need others to change in order for you to feel better. Decide to look for what you DO like about your family and friends rather than giving in to the habit of noticing things you DON’T like. Look for what’s right rather than what’s wrong.

Birds of a feather, right? You attract relationships with people who match your vibration. You are always calling to and attracting birds of the same vibrational feather. Look at the birds in your flock. Do they uplift you? Are they closer to empowered or powerless? Do they prefer to praise or complain? You can learn a lot about the state of your own vibration by looking at the people in your life.

If you are less than impressed with some of your acquaintances, the answer is not to chase them away or try to reform them. Accept that the people in your environment are a mirror of your own life. Then have fun watching your relationships change as you raise your vibration. As you raise your vibration, either the other birds will be influenced by you and raise their vibration as well or they will fly away. As you change, your relationships will change. As you take responsibility for your own vibration, you allow others to take responsibility for their vibration. What a great philosophy – Live and let live!

Cafe Employers’ Liability Cover Might Not Be Everyone’s Cup of Tea

If your business is running a café, you might well need to employ staff – on a temporary or permanent basis. But if you do run a café, it is unlikely that you will consider yourself a natural expert on the question of café employers’ liability insurance or even find the subject your particular cup of tea. Probably the most critical question, however, is likely to be whether or not you need it.

In many cases, the answer is that in all likelihood, this is something that you will indeed require. The exception, of course, is if you do not actually employ any staff. But also, businesses that are family-run enterprises, where employees are all closely related to each other, are usually exempt from the requirement, unless the company is a registered Limited Company. In other cases, however, the determining factor is whether or not you are employing staff under a contract of employment or formal apprenticeship. If this seems a little complicated to determine, then it might be helpful to discuss your exact relationship as an employer with an experienced insurance intermediary.

The reason for such a legal requirement is fairly straightforward. Even the simplest and most basic of cafés can be surprisingly dangerous places to work in terms of accidents and mishaps – staff can be injured. They can also contract illnesses as a result of their working for you. If that is the case, the employees concerned can claim compensation from you as a result of their injury or illness. Café employers’ liability insurance is designed to ensure that, in the event of such claims, you and they can be insured that there is sufficient cover to provide adequate compensation.

Because of the potentially very large sums involved in compensating anyone for injuries (or even death) and the long-term nature of some illnesses, the adequacy of café employers’ liability insurance can appear to be very high indeed. In those cases where the insurance is required by law, for example, the minimum requirement is for cover of at least £5 million. Even such a large sum, however, could prove inadequate in the case of certain claims, and so most insurance packages may offer cover for up to a typical £10 million.
